I have been in contact with Sophie who says she has some very interesting news for my ears alone. After Fortescu's "escape" from her custody, I feel I can trust her a little more, so I agreed to meet with her, let's hope this isn't a mistake. I have taken some precautions of my own, of course.

Day 138

I have met with Ms. Wallops.

9 November 2009

Day 127

Apparently Remo was referring to Sophie Baxter-Wallops. He wanted me to meet with Sophie at a location of my chosing, she's coming to Ajembukan in 4 days. I need to decide what to do. Sophie has released MP Fortescue Djambo as a sign of good faith.

Day 115

Remo says that an unidentified person wants to meet with me. Of course I asked him for the identity of the person, "Hear what she has to say first!" was all he would say. I insisted and said I would never meet someone who he couldn't vouch for. "I understand your excellency, but I don't think this woman can harm you and it's vitally important that she meet with you."

The question that needs to be answered "Should I go? Even if Remo himself sets up the meeting?" This decision is what I'm wrestling with.

Day 86

I've heard that our forces have defeated the government in the Delta of West Djahar province! The Provincial Capitol, Deltaville, has also been secured. I've heard from sources that there are currently no government military forces in the Delta region. More resistance fighters are pouring into the region from their guerrilla strongholds. It's remoteness from Kandur played a major factor in the defeat of the army. More and more citizens are hearing about Deltaville and rejoicing. In spite of a government curfew, there were celebrations in the streets of Ajembukan!  This not only gives us a port town, but communication to the outside world can pass freely through the gap in the government wide embargo of information.

Day 83

Please! Some MDWD has a very important message that needs to go to the council on human rights @ UN. Help me prove they're using torture. Please won't you help? dark?

Day 78

Here is the first video of the  "light the candle" event!

30 September 2009
Day 77

Let me tell you what's so significant about the First Day in October, it's election day here in West Djahar. I thought we should hold a wake for democracy. Light a candle tomorrow night in memory of the passing away of democracy.

Day 75

THANKS

First off, I want to thank the kind folks @tripod.com for giving us this domain!

BUSINESS

On to the business at hand; I couldn't risk too many of you coming do the country all at once because the government would get very suspicious. Also, we daren't speak openly on the Internet, because government spies will surely be reading my blog with interest. I've sent some of you the encryption passphrase, it should be used whenever you have something important to send either to me, or my operatives.

LOGISTICS

Computer access is non-existent where I am, I'm posting this from somewhere in Ajembukan, it was very dangerous for me to come here. I really need a Logistics Officer to make sense of this mess! I need someone, in-country to see to the co-ordination of all my efforts. I heard that the Sturdevant Expedition had a very successful Logistics Officer, someone called "Churchy?" I wonder if one of the MDWD could get in touch with him (very discreetly, mind you) if see if he would volunteer?

ROLE OF THE MDWD

First of all, I would like to thank everyone that has joined the cause by registering at the MDWD blog; Thunderclap, Mlitsonata, Nizuka, Peacemakersaya, April, Astrofig, Ashley, and Scotgaz. I learned of your existence from a news article which told of a fledgling international organization of people who would be willing lend their names to this cause. I have sent some people airline tickets so that they could participate directly. Other MDWD contributions will be consequential to a satisfying outcome, I need a "birds-eye" view of the media and political scene as well as operatives in-country if this is to succeed. Let your compatriots in-country know when a news article or anything to do with West Djahar comes your way.
